Inspect the questions before you move the bank

Start with a small package that represents your item types, media, scoring rules, and source organization.

  1. Upload the source package.
  2. Read the conversion warnings.
  3. Compare flagged questions with their source.
  4. Correct and preview the questions.
  5. Check the exported assessment in your destination.

Keep the acceptance check specific

A successful import does not prove that a destination LMS preserves every interaction or scoring rule.

Check question counts, media, answer keys, feedback, grouping, and learner behavior in the destination you plan to use.

QFlowLearn imports QTI 1.2, QTI 2.x, QTI 3.0, IMS Common Cartridge, Moodle XML, GIFT, Aiken, and Respondus Standard Format. The import report identifies every conversion and review warning.

Import review process

  1. Step 1

    Detect and parse

    QFlowLearn detects the package type. It then converts the items to the QFlowLearn item model.

  2. Step 2

    Separate fidelity tiers

    The report gives a fidelity status for each item. QFlowLearn records each conversion warning.

  3. Step 3

    Reviewer signoff

    Reviewers examine the item status, warnings, notes, source XML, and preview. Reviewers decide which corrections are needed before using the content.

  4. Step 4

    Source preservation and QA report

    QFlowLearn keeps the original XML with the item. The quality assurance (QA) report gives the package and fidelity status.

Migration report

The QA report gives the package status, fidelity counts, compatibility results, and correction status. The report records the completed review work.
