Your assessment content stays yours
QFlowLearn stores each canonical assessment as QTI 3, reports known conversion loss before export, and does not charge a separate fee to retrieve it.
Five commitments
These commitments apply to the authoring and migration workspace. Institutional agreements may add stronger protections. Any change to the basic export right must be explicit.
- You own your content
- You own your source files, questions, assessments, metadata, and exported packages. You give QFlowLearn only the limited rights needed to provide the service you request.
- Basic portability has no separate export fee
- You can use basic individual import and standards-based export without a separate portability charge. File-size, compute, rate, and abuse limits may apply.
- AI processes content only when you request it
- When you start AI-assisted generation, QFlowLearn sends your source material and generation settings to the AI provider configured for your workspace. Recovery, review, and export do not send content to an AI model.
- Conversion loss stays visible
- Import reports and destination preflight mark content as preserved, transformed, warning, or blocked. Export receipts record the destination and the evidence available at export.
- QTI 3 remains available
- Before hosted access ends, you can download each canonical assessment as a QTI 3 package. You can also access original sources and review reports while the workspace remains open.
AI and private content
QFlowLearn does not use private customer content to train a shared model. When a user starts AI-assisted generation, QFlowLearn sends the source material and generation settings needed for that request to the configured AI processor.
AI provider terms in hosted agreements
Hosted agreements name the configured provider or private model and set provider retention and training terms. If you require a private provider, zero provider retention, or different processing terms, include those requirements in your hosted agreement.
Respondus recovery, QTI migration, human review, destination preflight, and package export follow fixed rules. These workflows do not send content to an AI model.
What portability includes
Basic import and standards-based export do not carry a separate portability fee. Institutions pay for the hosted workspace and the services listed here.
- Additional AI capacity and private model configuration
- Bulk conversion, migration assistance, and automation
- Collaborative review, shared-bank governance, and institutional controls
- Direct integrations, managed support, and Harbor-backed delivery
Account closure
QTI 3 is the guaranteed canonical export. You can also export to destinations with a supported profile.
Read portability terms-
Request closure
A workspace administrator asks QFlowLearn support to close the hosted account.
-
Export content
Unless you request immediate deletion or a legal or security requirement requires earlier action, the workspace remains available for a 30-day export window.
-
Confirm and close
Support records the delivered exports and any blocked content. After that review, support closes the workspace under the applicable retention terms.
Test portability with your own assessment
Bring a representative package. Review the import report, destination preflight, and export receipt before you choose a platform.
